i know house republicans say we were re-elected to you do you think winning the presidential election has a certain force to it maybe he feels overrides that. >> it was. it was good, solid win. 47, 48% of the country didn't agree with him. so that's not a small little number of differing opinions. >> that's true. and i think the president actually is complicit in our permanent state of cliffitis. we are going to have a tiny patch, not going to have a real deal that solves our problems. we're going into another fight. the world has been waiting for a year and a half for us to solve our first debt deal. it fell apart. waiting on a second one. we're going to rattle the global markets, tell our enemies we're cutting our military. we are telling everyone we're paralyzed. he's going to be complicit in that. it's not good for him to go into his second term the beginning of it, without the ability to go on to move on to clean fights. we're always at the cliff, always at the precipes of default and the inability to deal with entitlements to really give on -- and move to the center, on the side
